AI BRAND FILM PRODUCTION

Powered by AI — Directed by Humans

A brand film is not an ad. It is the piece a company shows when it wants to be understood rather than remembered — the film at the top of the site, the one that opens the investor deck, the one playing behind the founder at the launch. It carries the argument for why the company exists, and it has about ninety seconds to make it.

F5 Refresh directs brand films the way film is directed. A human creative director owns the concept, the creative decisions, the edit and the final cut. AI executes inside that direction — building the worlds, composing the scenes, rendering frames that would once have required a crew, a location and a shooting schedule. The machine handles the labor of the frame. A person authors what it means. That distinction is the entire studio, and it is why the work reads as film rather than output.

How We Operate

  1. Creative brief analysis and concept development

We start with the argument, not the imagery. What the company is actually claiming, who needs to believe it, and what would make them. From there the concept is developed with AI-assisted storyboarding and reference generation, so you are looking at the film's visual logic — its palette, its pacing, its world — before a single frame is committed. This is the first approval gate. Nothing moves until the direction is signed off.

  2. AI-directed production

Scene composition, lighting design and cinematography, executed with generative tools and directed shot by shot. Every frame is a decision: what is in it, how it is lit, how long it holds, what it cuts to. Generative models make it possible to iterate at a speed traditional production cannot match — the direction is what keeps that speed from becoming noise.

  3. Post-production

Editing, color grading, sound design and final delivery. Sound is treated as half the film, not a layer added at the end. The final cut is the third approval gate, and the film is delivered in every format you need to run it.

04 // Coverage

Where We Work

The studio is based in Beirut and works with brands across Lebanon, the Gulf and the wider MENA region — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha — as well as internationally. Because production is directed rather than staged, there is no crew to fly and no location to book, which means a brand in another country is not a logistical problem. Briefs are taken remotely, direction is reviewed remotely, and the film is delivered as files.

Film — FAQ

How much does a brand film cost?

Cost follows scope. The variables that move it are runtime, how many distinct worlds or settings the film moves through, whether the script is written from scratch or supplied, the amount of character work involved, and how many format variants you need at delivery. A single-concept film at ninety seconds and a multi-world narrative piece sit in very different places. Send the brief and you get a figure against that scope rather than a range that fits everything and tells you nothing.

How long does it take to produce an AI brand film?

Timeline is set at the brief and depends on runtime and the amount of world-building involved. The two things that most often move it are how many distinct environments the film has to establish and how much back-and-forth the script goes through before direction locks. A tight, single-world film moves considerably faster than a narrative piece with multiple settings and characters. You get a schedule with the quote, with the three approval gates marked.

Do you write the script, or does the client?

Both. Some clients arrive with a finished script and want it directed. Others arrive with a proposition and nothing else, and the script is written here as part of the concept. Agencies frequently bring a locked script and use the studio as the production partner. All three are normal.

What's the difference between an AI brand film and traditional production?

Traditional production spends most of its budget on logistics — crew, location, cast, equipment, schedule — and most of its risk on the shoot day. AI-directed production moves that budget and that risk into direction and iteration. You can see a version of the film before committing to it, change the world, relight a scene, or rewrite a beat without losing a shooting day. What does not change is the craft: someone still has to decide what the film is about and hold the standard for every frame in it.

Can you produce a brand film remotely for a brand outside Lebanon?

Yes, and most of the work is produced that way. The brief, the direction reviews and the approval gates all run remotely, and the film arrives as files. Clients in the Gulf, Europe and North America work with the studio without anyone getting on a plane.
